Corona infection has gained momentum in Delhi. On Friday, 1796 new corona infected have come accross in the capital. According to the Health Department, the active cases of corona in Delhi have gone up to 4410. At the same time 467 people have become healthy.

At the same time, Omicron has been found in 57 more people in the capital in the last one day. During this time, like adults, cases of Omicron have started being found in children too. According to the Health Department, four children have been found infected with the Omicron variant so far. All have common effect. With this, the total Omicron cases in Delhi have increased to 320. Of these, 89 patients have been discharged. An official of the department said that two out of the four children have also been given leave.

Government geared up the preparations In view of Omicron, the government has bought 6000 D-type cylinders. A D-type cylinder can hold 46 liters of oxygen. Delhi Transport Corporation has 9,115 cylinders. Apart from these, four more plants are being set up by January 5. Two cryogenic bottling plants with a capacity of 12.5 MT will be operational this week. These can refill 1,400 jumbo cylinders.
